Self-mailers, postcards and booklets, set up to mail. Each product has its own setup video, dimensions and rules. Every piece shares three USPS essentials: a clear address panel, a reserved indicia area, and room for the barcode. We return a soft proof fast.
A folded piece that mails without an envelope. Fold it, tab it, address the outer panel.

00 / 03 doneThe mailing panel must be oriented vertically, parallel to the spine. Leave a clear space exactly 3.75" wide from the right trim edge for the address, barcode, and indicia.
The mailing panel must be oriented horizontally. It must be located in the top 1/3 of the outside back cover.
Speed, cost and minimum quantity all move together. All four options are available for postcards, self-mailers and booklets.
Smaller campaigns, time-sensitive offers, and personal communications.
High-volume promotions, catalogs, and announcements that are not time-sensitive.
Registered nonprofits with an active USPS nonprofit authorization on file.
Lists under 200 addresses, and any international recipients.
Download your product template, set up your artwork correctly, and prepare your mailing address list.
Submit your list as an Excel file (.xls or .xlsx). CSV and other formats are not accepted. Include: First Name, Last Name, Street Address, Apartment or Suite (optional), City, State, Zip Code.
Reserve a clear space of at least 0.5" by 0.5" in the upper right corner, no more than 1.5" from the top or right edge, with indicia text at 5pt minimum (8pt preferred). If you are using physical stamps instead, reserve a 1" by 1" clear space. Never place a fake indicia or barcode in your artwork, we generate and print the correct ones for you.
The address and barcode must read parallel to the final fold on a self-mailer, and parallel to the longest edge on a postcard. On small booklets the mailing panel runs vertically, parallel to the spine; on large booklets it runs horizontally across the top third of the back cover.
Leave a clear space exactly 3.75" wide from the right trim or final folded edge. No artwork, background colors, or text can sit in that zone. The barcode itself needs a 3.5" wide clear space and must read parallel with the longest edge.
The return address can go in the top left or bottom left of the mailing panel, as long as it does not encroach on the 3.75" clear zone reserved for the recipient address, barcode, and indicia.
Self-mailers under 11.5" by 6.125" require wafer seals. Two tabs are standard, and a third is required if there are more than 3 folded panels or the piece weighs over 1 oz. If the final fold is on the bottom, tabs go on the top edge; if the final fold is on the right, tabs go on the left edge. We add the correct tabs for you.
First-Class Mail requires a minimum of 500 pieces. Standard (Marketing) Mail and Nonprofit Mail each require a minimum of 200 pieces. If your list falls below 200 addresses, First-Class stamps are your only postage option.
Our design team builds your direct mail artwork to USPS specs, with the address panel, indicia area and barcode clearance set up correctly, then sends a proof for your approval.
We recently experienced a security incident affecting some of our systems, including our online ordering platform. We’ve rebuilt on new infrastructure, and as part of that fresh start, customer accounts did not carry over.
If you had an account with us before August 9th 2026, you’ll need to create a new one. It takes about a minute, and we’re sorry for the hassle.
Will my order history and reorders be available?
No. Along with accounts, order history, saved reorders, and saved files did not carry over to the new site. The first time you order with us again, you’ll place it as a new order, uploading your artwork fresh. After that first order, one-click reordering works as before from your new account.
If you have an open order with us, our team is contacting affected customers directly. You can also reach us at (800) 655-5833 or support@greenerprinter.com.
One security note: if you used your old Greenerprinter password on any other website, we recommend changing it there.
